Your WordPress site’s General Settings is the default screen in the settings administration screen and controls some of the most basic configuration settings for your site. It can be accessed in the backend WordPress dashboard sidebar under Settings > General Settings. The only setting that you should adjust is Site Title, which will change the title of your site visible above your Site Menu and at the top of your Footer, if you have it enabled.
